Is Blogland slow for you today?

Yesterday BCUK was so slow I could hardly post. After a while it gets frustrating refreshing pages all the time and losing comments, so I gave up. But I'm a hopeful soul, so here I am today, trying again.... and again having more problems than I would like.

I'm just curious whether anyone else has noticed how slow things are these last few days, and whether they have any idea why this should be so? Is BCUK being hacked? Are we being spied upon? Am I paranoid? Should I be?

And there I was, going to do a nice sensible post about magical thorn trees...... ho hum

Things were tediously slow yesterday... I had a moan about it myself, but others seemed to think it was okay. Interestingly, I didn't have any problems a few days ago when everyone else was complaining!

BCUK's been okay for me today; not as quick as it can be, but nowhere near as bad as yesterday.

Hope you can get the map I posted for you... if not, let me know and I'll send you an email.

  Blogging has been a nightmare for me today - nothing will load properly. The thing is, though, internet pages outside Blog UK are fine, so it must be this site. Grrrr!

    Without doubt it is something to do with BCUK's servers that have been causing us problems recently... extremely frustrating.

It is incredibly tiresome.

As for whether or not we are being spied on I have noticed that I seem to be getting more spam and junk mail in my bulk email folder than usual these last 10 days or so.

Not so much slow as unstable and unreliable. The latest is the big problem of being able to read my own posts to reply to comments.

A blunt refusal seems to be the response but I am working on it - lol.

  Best of luck - being able to read your own posts is pretty basic stuff, I'd have thought! I wonder what's causing the problems?

    There are many possible reasons of course.
    
    Firstly, computers along with humans are not infallible. Also when program changes are made the result is not always as expected.
    
    That brings to mind - 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' - lol.

Haven't noticed .. sorry . All is well in miraland I did have problems with Blogger and uploading images yesterday. I kept having to switch from safari to firefox browsers. My MacLappy really likes firefox Old PC was not keen Are you all using internet explorer ? I wonder if that makes a difference ?
