Some advance news.... I will be one of the speakers at Witchfest International in Croydon on November 8th! Amazing - I'm so excited about it!
Last years was apparently 'the largest Witchcraft festival held in the World within recorded history',and the talks and workshops were given by the most famous Witchcraft/Wiccan authors and experts in the world....
(Hope they won't think I'm lowering the tone this year 
)

I suspect I'm a bit of an iconoclast at heart, Menhir! Thank you for your confidence in my vocal abilities... it's a strange thing that when the Welsh venture east of the Severn Bridge, we end up sounding like something from Under Milk Wood...
I shall look out for the Green Witch from Aberdour...

Even Under Milk Wood is musical and of course, one of its very best exponents was Richard Burton. I am not suggesting that you should attempt to emulate the venerable RB apart from using the musical tones of the voice.

Thanks Phil - yes, it's open to everyone. That's one of the things that makes these gatherings so interesting, there are people of all shades of belief (and none), and people at varying levels of enlightenment! It's a great experience!

Why should you be lowering the tone Tylluan? You're bound to have one of the finest cadences around, (apart from the Italians). I'm not suggesting you sing Land of Our Father's, though that would be popular. You could also do a turn from Turandot, say, 'In Questo Reggio', or 'Vinceró'.
I wonder if the Green Witch from Aberdour in Fife will be at Croydon.
